Sandeep Singhal

Sandeep Singhal is the Co-founder and Managing Partner at WestBridge Capital, based in Bangalore, India. He also co-founded Sequoia Capital India previously. Over the last two decades, Sandeep has been a prolific investor, serving on the boards of over 25 public and private companies and participating in prominent investments. Key companies include Dr. Lal PathLabs, Kajaria Ceramics, IndiGo, Info Edge, IndiaMART, Vini Cosmetics, Britannia, and Just Dial. Sandeep is a co-founder and Chairman of the IIMA Endowment. He played an integral role in co-founding Ashoka University and Plaksha University through his family foundation. He also serves as a trustee for the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment (ATREE). He co-founded the WestBridge-Anand Chess Academy (WACA) with Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand, a fellowship program dedicated to mentoring and developing top Indian chess talent. He holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi.
